MERCUSYS ME50G AC1900 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Range Extender

The MERCUSYS ME50G is a high-performance AC1900 Wi-Fi range extender designed to improve wireless coverage throughout your home or office. It helps eliminate weak-signal areas and extends the range of an existing wireless router, allowing connected devices to maintain a more reliable connection in rooms that are further away from the main router.

With combined wireless speeds of up to 1900 Mbps, the ME50G supports speeds of up to 1300 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and up to 600 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. This makes it suitable for demanding activities such as 4K video streaming, online gaming, video calls and connecting multiple smart-home devices.

High-Speed Dual-Band Wi-Fi

The extender operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless bands. The 2.4 GHz band provides broader coverage and better wall penetration, while the 5 GHz band offers higher speeds for compatible devices. High Speed Mode can combine both wireless bands to help deliver improved performance for bandwidth-intensive applications.

Four High-Gain Antennas and MU-MIMO

Four adjustable high-gain antennas help distribute the wireless signal over a wider area. The integrated 3×3 MU-MIMO technology allows the extender to communicate with multiple compatible devices more efficiently, helping to maintain stable network performance when several users and devices are connected simultaneously.

Adaptive Path Selection

Adaptive Path Selection automatically chooses the most suitable connection path to the router. This helps the ME50G maintain an efficient link and reduce the likelihood of performance drops caused by an unsuitable connection route.

Range Extender and Access Point Modes

The ME50G can be used as a wireless range extender to expand an existing Wi-Fi network. It also includes built-in Access Point functionality. By connecting the device to a wired network using the Gigabit Ethernet port, users can create a dual-band wireless access point in a location where a wired network connection is available.

Simple Setup and Convenient Management

The one-touch WPS button enables quick connection to a compatible router. A multicolour LED signal indicator helps identify a suitable installation location by showing the quality of the connection to the router.

The extender can be configured and managed using the MERCUSYS smartphone application for Android and iOS devices. The compact wall-mounted design plugs directly into a UK mains socket, helping to save space and simplify installation.

The MERCUSYS ME50G supports WPA, WPA2 and WPA3-PSK wireless security standards. WPA3 provides an additional layer of protection for compatible networks, helping to secure wireless communication and connected devices.
